Indian name: Nagar
Habitat: It is said to be native of South East Asia, but it cultivated in West Indies, Africa, Australia, Mauritius, America, Taiwan and India. More than 35% of the world's production is from India.
Useful in: Ginger is used as a stomachic, a carminative, stimulant and flavouring agent. It Enhances digestion and assimilation.
