Latin Name: Withania somnifera
Indian Name: Ashwagandha
Habitat: This plant grows wildly in all drier parts ad sub tropical India . It occurs in Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab Planes and North Western Parts of India like Gujarat and Rajasthan. It is also found in Congo , South Africa, Egypt, Morocco, Jordon, Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Useful in: Ashwagandha is well known for its aphrodisiac Property. It is used in semen disorders and leucorrhoea caused due to endometritis. It is useful in general debility. It completely cures puerperal backache.
