Indian Name: Malkangni
Habitat : Hilly Districts, Himalayas and Ceylon.
Useful in: Improve memory by medhya guna. Ushna property enhances grasping power. Cow's ghee & Jyotishmati oil mixture is used as a memory enhancer. It is a medha rasayani.
Celastrus paniculata is famed for its effects on the brain cells and was traditionally used for sharpening the memory and increasing intellect.
